Dead Man Rolling in NYC

Pattaya attracts pensioners and old geezers by the thousands. Rents are cheap, food is plentiful, drinking is less than the west, and you can drive drunk. Not always successfully as a Finnish man discovered on 3rd Road this week discovered after a head-on crash with a Honda Civic.

DOA.

He had been coming from a wedding.

Will his friends have good last bash for him?

And if they do, will he be invited?

According to old Hollywood legend two silent movie stars liberating their fallen friend from a morgue for a last night on the town.

Supposedly got him laid.

After all rigor mortis, the final Viagra, lasts two days.

The Finn’s friends could do no less, although not every one has the dead man’s best interest at heart when they take him out for that last stroll.

Two Manhattan men are facing fraud charges after wheeling their dead friend to a check-cashing shop to cash a Social Security check. A curious policeman discovered upon investigation that the disheveled wheelchair passenger was stiff as a Baptist minister at a go-go bar and cold too. The policeman arrested the 65 year-old pair, who expressed surprise their friend was dead, despite the coroner’s finding that he had been dead for over 24 hours.

“He’s dead.”

“No, shit, I thought he was awfully quiet.”

$355 makes a man live and breathe.

“I thought I heard him tell us to cash the check.”

“Yeah, I heard him too.”

“Maybe he was speaking from the after-life.”

Unfortunately the pair was unable to cash the $365 check, as the shop’s clerk suspected something amiss.

“I saw this guy sitting in this chair with his head back. He looked very dead. He looked very sick. His eyes were closed. He wasn’t moving.”

Maybe the two seniors should have used the last party excuse.

“He just wanted one last party.”

I’m sure it will work for the Finn.

Rest his soul.
