The November elections are a month off. The GOP are fighting amongst themselves and the Democrats are following the Republicans’ lead, as ex-VP and the 1984 Democratic Presidential candidate, Walter Mondale, criticized Barack Obama for his use of teleprompter, calling the electronic devices ‘idiot boards’.
I agree with him.
Politicians tend to say what they think people want to hear rather than say what they want to tell the people, however Walter Mondale tarnished any run for the presidency when he stated in 1982, “Being president isn’t worth spending the next two years of my life in a Holiday Inn.”
Or shaking hands, kissing babies, and suffering through fried chicken dinners.
A president has to want to be president.
And if that means saying the same old shit day in and day out, so be it, if what you’re saying in the truth, otherwise go fuck yourself.
And that goes for you, Obama.
