Bangkok Fake Diamond Theft

On July 30, the Bangkok Post reported the theft of a 2100-carat ‘diamond’ worth 315 million baht. The story sounded very hinky and today the ‘diamond’ was returned to its owner, who was told that it was a fake diamond or cubic zirconium by Thai diamond experts.
