Denmark might have scored #1 in the international happiness index, however the USA won the gold for consumption of cannabis and cocaine. The study from the online scientific magazine PLoS Medicine reported that 16.2% of Americans had tried cocaine at least once, and 42.4% had used marijuana. My answer to those findings is bullshit. Those are just the people who admit to having used drugs.
Draconian drug laws appear to have the reverse effect judging from the Netherlands’ more enlightened laws on self-intoxication. Dutch cocaine use registered only 1.9% or eight times less than the USA.
