The Ocean One Tower planned for Pattaya, Thailand will not just be the tallest building in Thailand, it will also be eco-friendly. The Wall Street Journal recently ran a piece on environmentally-friendly architecture in Asia and highlighted this project, a 91-story beachfront condo development. OCean One in Jomtien is a project which just won’t quit.
The 611-unit building’s impact on the surrounding neighborhood would be tremendous ie traffic and the sheer weight of the condo elevating the surrounding buildings by pushing them out of the ground which is basically reclaimed swamps.
Real estate flaks or press relations have been recently writing about how this tower will actually be environmentally friendly by conserving water and energy through advanced techniques.
The most important would be not building this monstrosity at all. Then again I might be able to see it from Hua Hin across the Gulf.
